Amazing 3D Floor Art by Edgar Mueller

You probably all heard about 3D street painting or even got “stuck” in such a fantastic scenery. For now, we won’t get into the history and other definitions of these specific contemporary art expressions, as we plan on elaborating that in a vast post. We will let you get surprised or curious about these new ways of expressing dreams, fears, memories of lost ages, weird things that can only be imagined. And we consider that a proper introduction would be to showing you the works made by one of the most appreciated 3D street artists, Edgar Mueller (Germany). This master of street painting uses the street as a canvas for its pavement art and if one looks from the right spot, his three-dimensional painting becomes the perfect illusion. His main goal is to give a new appearance to urban public life, challenging the people to imagine themselves as characters or to sense a new imaginary environment.
1.Ice Age – in Dun Laoghaire, at the “Festival of World Culture”

2. Lava Burst - in 2008, on the 30th anniversary of the international competition of street painters in Geldern (Germany)

3. Unconditional Love – a creation of 100′ x 40′ 3D street painting that for the first time in history was designed to metamorphose, the image changing from day to night from a giant into a fetus, through the use of photoluminescent paints.

Free Crochet Baby Blanket Patterns - Where To Find Them And How To Organize Them

You must be looking for free crochet baby blanket patterns since you have found this article.  I love making baby blankets and I'll make them in both boy and girl colors to keep at the house so when there is a baby shower I am ready with a beautiful handmade gift that any new mother would just lost to have.

The first step in locating free crochet baby blanket patterns is by searching the internet.  I love to look at all the photos of baby blankets first to see which ones really catch my eye.  I will print out all the ones I love the most and would love to make.  I keep them all in a file so when I want to make a baby blanket they are right there waiting for me.  You could be lost for hours searching all the free crochet baby blanket patterns because there is just so many of them.  You can either save each pattern that you like in your favorites under a file folder called free crochet baby blanket patterns or you can print each one out that you like.

You can also find free crochet baby blanket patterns at your local library.  Many libraries have crochet magazines that you are allowed to check out.  When you have them at home, just copy all the patterns you really like and keep them in your file.  Your library may even be able to make copies for you if you are unable to make the copies at your own home.  If your library doesn't have crochet magazines see if they can get some in.  If there is a large enough interest most libraries will start ordering them.

Another place I get some great free crochet baby blanket patterns are from where you purchase your yarn.  Many times you will find these hanging next to the yard and they could be 5 or 6 different free crochet baby blanket patterns to choose from.  Again, be sure to put all your good finds in a file.  I will sometimes go into craft stores just so I can snag these great free crochet baby blanket patterns.  I have made some really beautiful blankets from these patterns.

A great way I have found to keep your entire free crochet baby blanket patterns safe and very well organized is to go out and buy a two inch three ring binder and some clear sleeves that you can insert the patterns into.  Then you can put two of your free crochet baby blanket patterns into one sleeve, one for the front one for the back.
Then you can search through them like you are looking through a book.  If you are anything like me, you are going to be collecting free crochet baby blanket patterns like crazy and you may even need more than one three ring binder to hold all your treasures.  You can do this will all the patterns you collect.  Just buy a certain color binder for each type of pattern you are collecting.

Once you have chosen the perfect free crochet baby blanket patterns, you will want to go out and make sure you have everything you need to complete the project.  You want to be sure you have the right size crochet hook and then you want to be sure that you purchase all the yarn you will need to finish the project.  You always want to buy everything you need to finish the project so you don't need to run out and buy something to finish it because they may be out of the yarn you need and then what are you going to do?

I have a certain place in my house to keep all my crochet things.  This will make it easier to see what all you have and what all you need to go out and buy.  I have made many blankets with the scrap yarn I had left over from a few projects so never throw away your scraps because you can turn your scraps into a beautiful work of art!  When you think you have enough scrap yarn, go through your collection of free crochet baby blanket patterns and find the perfect one for your scrap yarn.

Crochet Blanket Patterns - Where To Find Them And How To Make Them

Are you looking for crochet blanket patterns?  If you are just learning crochet, then you came to the right place.  There is a lot you need to know if you're a beginner so that you can make a really nice blanket that you can be proud of.  You will be able to make a blanket that you and your family can love and cherish for years to come.  If this is your first project you are going to want it to be something simple but at the same time something really beautiful too.

You can search the internet for crochet blanket patterns as there are literally thousands out there that you can print off for free.  Just search for patterns that look like you would be able to do easy enough and for photos of the finished project.  I love looking at all the photos of crochet blanket patterns.  I do this first to see what I would love to have around my own home and then see if I can accomplish the crochet blanket patterns.  If you see more than one that you like, print off as many as you like so that you can refer to them later for more great ideas.

Once I find a crochet blanket patterns that I think I can do, I then make sure I have the correct size hook and I buy enough yarn to complete the entire project.  There have been times when I didn't buy all the yarn at one time and when I went back to get more the color was just a bit off and my blanket didn't look as nice as I could tell the colors where off.  So, I always make sure to buy all the yarn I will need for all my crochet blanket patterns.

Some people like to take their yarn and roll them all into balls.  This can make it easier to use as I have been in a predicament where my yarn gets all knotted up inside the skein of yarn and I have to take time and try to figure out how to unknot the mess.  It's up to you if you want to roll all your yarn into balls.  I know if you have cats they would love it if you would.

Then, every day spend some time working on the crochet blanket patterns.  Sometimes it can take a month or so to finish a blanket.  It just depends on the type of stitches you are using, the size of the hook you use and how big you are making your blanket.  Sometimes you can finish the blanket in a lot less time than that.  I like to work on all my crochet blanket patterns in the evening while I am relaxing and watching TV.

These crochet blanket patterns make wonderful gifts.  I'm sure you know of a lot of people that would just love to receive a handmade blanket as a gift.  I know a lot of people that use crochet blanket patterns to make blankets for those who are homeless.  They spend all year making them and then in the winter they hand them out to those who are cold and don't have a home to use to keep warm.

You can also find crochet blanket patterns for making blankets for preemie babies for those whose moms don't have much money.  These are fun to make I think because you are imagining the newborn being wrapped up in it.  You can find organizations like this on the internet and they may even have their own crochet blanket patterns for you to follow.  The one I know about is called The Preemie Project and I think it would be wonderful if you used your talent and all your saved up crochet blanket patterns to help those who are in need.

There are also crochet blanket patterns swaps where you join a group of people and they all swap their patterns.  This is usually done through the mail and it can be a lot of fun sending your favorite crochet blanket patterns out and getting twenty or so in the mail.  You meet a lot of new people this way and you get a lot of great crochet blanket patterns too.

So, if you are looking for a great project to do and you really love to crochet, then find some crochet blanket patterns and make yourself or someone else a really beautiful handmade afghan.  You, your family and friends will enjoy these blankets for years to come and you never know these blankets may just become a family heirloom and be handed down throughout the generations.  I'm sure you have a blanket handed down throughout your own family so why not start one of your own?  I'm sure you'll find many ways to use your crochet blanket patterns.

Amazing Ice Sculptures Of London

An artist is challenging global warming by exhibiting ice sculptures of London landmarks outdoors at the height of the British summer.
The ice sculptures of Post Office Tower, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral and Big Ben are on display in the capital.

Artist Percy Salazar created the piece to promote Chinese Harbin Lager for the Taste of London Food Festival.
Spectacular ice sculptures are a celebrated tradition in Harbin, China.
The ice art can be seen at the festival between Thursday June 19 and Sunday June 22.
When the sculptures melt, Mr Salazar could try and pass them off as the River Thames.
